China Demands U.S. Explain its Surveillance and Wiretapping Practices

The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry repeatedly criticized the U.S. for its surveillance and wiretapping practices - recent leaks of classified military documents in the U.S. sparked off successive revelation of such deeds.
The spokesperson underlined as follows:
China noted the numerous reports of the news media to the effect that the documents corroborated once again direct intervention of the U.S. in the Ukrainian crisis, and its persistent acts of indiscriminate intelligence theft, surveillance and wiretapping perpetrated against all other countries including its own allies, taking advantage of its technological superiority.
In this regard, the U.S. should explain itself before the international society.
When the U.S. does not even care to respect the privacy of the leaders of its allies, it is not surprising at all that such a country monitors and wiretaps the SNS users for their private information.
The world sees without doubt that the U.S. notion of data security is a fraud and its true intention is the security of its network supremacy.
The spokesperson continued to insist that the U.S. created quite a sensation with its tapping practices within the United Nations as well, despite its claims to support the role of the organization, and strongly demanded that the U.S. give a clear answer to the international society and, particularly, to the United Nations.
