Anti-Russia Sanctions Policy of the U.S. Encounters Adverse Current

Recently, Ria-Novosti Press quoted an article contributed by an American press entitled “Anti-Russia Sanctions is the Biggest Mistake in History of the West”.
The article said that the sanction policy of the West geared to bring Russia to its knees failed only to exacerbate the economic situation of the West and help Russia increase its external position.
The main content of the article is as follows:
Western bloc predicted that they can disintegrate Russia with sanctions policy but Russia overcame all the difficulties on its own, and it is now outrunning some Western countries like Germany and the UK in economic growth rate.
While Western countries are suffering from inflation and severe energy crisis, Russia is also furthering achievements in battles in Ukraine, focusing its efforts on production of munitions such as shells and artillery pieces.
Moreover, the West is losing its ground more and more in the countries of Middle East, Africa and Latin America, whereas there is increasing voice from these countries calling for cooperation with Russia, a reliable partner.
Notably, Russia’s role as a pacemaker is on the increase in the influential international organizations such as Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.
Recently, President Putin emphasized that the long-term sanctions strategy of the West to disintegrate and weaken Russia has rather dealt them a severe blow and created adverse current to their economic development.
