North Phyongan Province is making efforts for improving the educational level of rural schools, regarding it as a vital problem for revolution in education.
The province is inducing the schools in cities and county seats to learn after the educational institutions in Sinuiju City which made a contribution to raising the educational level of rural schools in Changsong and Pyokdong Counties.
The province took measures to send the officials in the educational field of the provincial people's committee and the advisers of teaching training schools and city and county teachers’ in-service training centres to the rural schools so that they can help the teachers there improve their qualifications and introduce new teaching methods.
The province has understood the real conditions of the schools in the countryside in detail and is taking timely measures for improving the educational condition and the environment.
