The relay teams of a letter of loyalty from the members of the Korean Children’s Union across the country, which started in Samjiyon City, divided into two towards the east and west coastal areas, are heading for the capital city of Pyongyang.

In the run-up to the 70th anniversary that Chairman Kim Jong Il wrote a letter of best wishes to President Kim Il Sung during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War, they are ablaze with enthusiasm to send a letter of loyalty of all KCU members across the country to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un .

The relay team in the east coastal area arrived at Tanchon City in South Hamgyong Province on May 25 via Rason City and North Hamgyong Province, courteously conveying and taking over the letter.

Its members laid a flower basket and flowers before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the mosaic murals depicting their images in the relevant regions, making a firm pledge to prepare themselves to be pillars of the country boundlessly faithful to Kim Jong Un by doing their study and organizational life well.

At the Monument to the Victorious Battle in the Musan Area and the North Hamgyong Provincial Revolutionary Museum they looked round with deep emotion the historic relics and materials, recalling the immortal revolutionary exploits performed by the peerlessly great men for national liberation and the building of a prosperous country.

They conducted colourful artistic motivational activities at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm under the North Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee and Sinyang Farm in Myonggan County to encourage working people in their efforts to attain the 12 major goals for national economic development set forth by the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.

The relay team in the west coastal area reached Anju City in South Phyongan Province on May 25 via Kanggye, Sinuiju and other cities and counties in Jagang and North Phyongan provinces.

Its members visited the Jangjasan Revolutionary Site, the Pongrinsan Revolutionary Battle Site and the 250-mile Journey for Learning Schoolchildren’s Palace and conducted artistic motivational activities at the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory, the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory, township farm in Hyangsan County and other factories and rural areas.

At a meeting “Night of yearning for the fatherly Marshal” held on the running course, they represented their immense yearning for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is making devoted efforts for the country’s prosperity, people’s wellbeing and a rosy future of schoolchildren, singing such songs as “Our Father” and “Marshal Kim Jong Un Is Our Father”.

They also conducted various political and cultural activities.

Many officials, working people and youth and students in provinces, cities and counties are warmly welcoming and seeing them off along the running course, giving strength and courage to them.
