Hong Sok Jin's wife, Kim Myong Hui says:
"My husband has done what he should do as an ordinary worker for tens of years. But the state has held him up as a meritorious person and provided him with such a wonderful terraced house free of charge. We are going to keep the house neat and tidy and add beauty to the street where we live."
