In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea the state provides all people with dwelling houses free of charge.
Many dwelling houses have been built across the country in recent few years, making a contribution to the improvement of the people's living.
It is the ordinary working people that have settled in the new houses, monumental creations intensively showing the people-first idea of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The Eighth Congress of the WPK held in January Juche 110(2021) decided to build 50,000 flats in the capital city alone and to this end, to build 10,000 flats every year while pushing ahead with the housing construction on a nationwide scale during the 2021-2025 five-year plan.
At the Second Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee held in February Juche 110(2021) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, stressed that the housing construction is an important work to provide the people with a stable and civilized life and a political issue to defend the authority of the Party Congress.
As he was so concerned about the issue of building the houses for the people, he took part in the inaugural ceremony of the first-stage project to build 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area in April to cut the tape of inauguration and wish the working people to lead a happy, harmonious and worthwhile life in the new houses generation after generation.
That is why all the Korean people say the socialist motherland led by the peerlessly great man Kim Jong Un is the cradle of their life, a genuine people's country, where their interests and conveniences are prioritized and absolutized, and that their life is infinitely proud and worthwhile.
