I send warm congratulations to you, the government of the Russian Federation and the friendly Russian people on behalf of the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the entire Korean people on the occasion of the National Day of the Russian Federation.
The strong and resourceful people of Russia have long lived on the vast land creating the proud history and culture and covered the proud course of development demonstrating the dignity and might of the powerful country.
Today the struggle of the Russian people to frustrate the increasing threats and challenges of the hostile forces trying to encroach on the sovereignty and security of the country and the peaceful life has greeted a new turning phase under your correct decision and leadership.
Justice is sure to win and the Russian people will continue to glorify the history of victory, their unique tradition.
Our people send full support and solidarity to your people who are making an all-out dash for the sacred cause to defend the sovereign rights, development and interests of Russia and realize the international justice at defiance with the high-handedness and arbitrariness of the imperialists.
The DPRK-Russia friendship, which has lasted generation after generation and century after century despite all the trials of the history, is a precious strategic asset of our two countries and it is a firm stand of the DPRK government to constantly develop the good-neighbour and cooperative relations in line with the demand of the new era.
