The Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics posted a special edition on the homepage under the title “Pioneer of National Liberation Struggle” with an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung who formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union, on August 14, 2023 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Korea’s liberation. The centre posted a special edition on the homepage under the title “Chairman Kim Jong Il and Chol Pass” along with photos of him who visited the KPA units, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the day when he started leadership over the revolutionary armed forces.
Saying that President Kim Il Sung who embarked on the road of struggle for the country and people in his teens authored the Juche idea in the course of groping for the path of national liberation struggle, the homepage noted that the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army waged an armed struggle against the Japanese imperialist without any home front or the support of a regular army under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, thus achieving the historic cause of Korea’s liberation.
Saying that the national liberation struggles of the people in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Namibia and Angola are permeated with exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the homepage noted that the exploits of the President who made distinguished services to the realization of human cause of independence by opening a new era of the national liberation struggle in colonial countries would shine forever.
The homepage noted that, in order to defend destiny and security of the country and people in the 1990s, Chairman Kim Jong Il visited military units over Chol Pass 18 times to give strength and courage to the soldiers and make them keep in mind the noble mission of defending the country. It also noted that frontline posts of the DPRK have been strengthened into an impregnable fortress and the US and other aggressive forces dared not to ignite a war in the DPRK, thanks to his devoted efforts.
The homepage noted that Chairman Kim Jong Il regarded the People’s Army as the main force to simultaneously push ahead the national defence and the socialist construction, thus creating a new history of prosperity in the DPRK.
