The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is vigorously advancing despite the persistent sanctions and pressure of the hostile forces.

Many people find joy of life in taking on hard and laborious work ahead of others and making a breakthrough for the prosperity of the country and overcome trials and difficulties, helping and leading one another forward with full confidence in the future.

They are genuine people who regard it as a pride of their life to undergo hardships ahead of others, enjoy happiness afterwards, shoulder difficult work of their own accord and concede success to others.

Though they look like ordinary people, they are the members of the Workers' Party of Korea who are strong in ideology, spirit and faith and have a noble outlook on life of sacrificing even their lives to carrying out the Party policies.

Here is Pak Yong Il, former shock-brigader of the Moranbong District Battalion of Division No. 1 of Party Members of the Capital City who participated in the project for damage rehabilitation of South and North Hamgyong Provinces three years ago.

"After receiving the open letter of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, we went to the affected areas and worked day and night to heal the damage as soon as possible. We completed the project on schedule and made a report of loyalty to the Party.

The true value of a member of the WPK is the value of the noble idea and spirit for the country and the people, the society and the collective and that of devoted service for them, I think."

It is a noble intention of Kim Jong Un that the work for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people should be always done on the highest level and there should be no satisfaction in it.

Kim Jong Un went to dangerous flood-stricken areas before others and made painstaking efforts to have new houses built for the inhabitants. He led the emergency anti-epidemic campaign on its forefront, saying: Now is the time to be more fully aware of what we are needed for and whom we should sacrifice our lives for. Our Party will bravely discharge its crucial duty and take full responsibility for the security and welfare of the country and people with infinite loyalty and devotion.

On the platform of the square for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK, he ardently called on millions of Party members to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the great people.

All the Party members responded to his great call.

The loyalty and patriotism of the Party members who work hard to relieve the Party and the state of their worries and agonies are the motive force that enables the Korean revolution to make constant leap forward without stagnation and stalemate despite manifold difficulties and hardships.
