Meetings between Voters and Candidates for Deputies Registered in Different Constituencies Held

With the approach of the day of the election of deputies to the local people’s assemblies, the political enthusiasm of all the Korean people to demonstrate once again the advantages of the most solid and viable people-centred socialist system of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is remarkably growing.
Meetings between voters and candidates for deputies registered at constituencies across the country take place, adding to the revolutionary atmosphere for significantly marking the election of deputies to the provincial (municipality), city (district) and county people’s assemblies.
They take place in the forms of talks with voters or meetings of voters at industrial establishments, dongs and neighbourhood units in the constituencies to meet the actual conditions.
Candidates for deputies to the people’s assemblies at all levels learned about the situation at the relevant constituencies and had a candid discussion on problems arising in reality with voters at the meetings.
After hearing out the opinions of the voters and looking back upon their work through the latter’s impartial assessment of them, the candidates keenly realized that it is the way of glorifying their worthwhile life and honour as genuine representatives and true servants of the people to be possessed of the Party Central Committee’s noble outlook on the people and devotedly find and do even a single more beneficial and better thing for the development of the state and the realization of the interests of the people.
Through the meetings, the candidates kept in mind once again the people-first idea of the Party and the state associated with the newly amended and supplemented law on election, and the voters were fired by zeal to take an active part in the election of deputies to the local people’s assemblies and thus contribute to consolidating the people’s power as solid as a rock with the pride of being citizens of the dignified DPRK which gives top and absolute priority to the people’s will and demands.
