The great President Kim Il Sung , the epitome of internationalist obligation, extended unreserved material aid and moral support to the righteous cause of the Cuban people who first upheld the banner of socialism in Latin America.
One day in November 1969, President Kim Il Sung met the technicians and specialists who were to be additionally dispatched to Cuba at the request of the Cuban government.
At that time, the situation in the DPRK was tense due to the moves of the U.S. imperialists to ignite a new war. Thus, it was not easy for the DPRK to select and dispatch another group of technical officials in large numbers.
Despite his busy schedule, President Kim Il Sung met the technicians and specialists and earnestly told them to maximize their enthusiasm and efforts for the Cuban revolution with the mindset that Cuba is also as important as the DPRK, saying that it does not matter even if they do not receive a cent for their work in Cuba.
A few months later, President Kim Il Sung met the members of labor support team to be dispatched to Cuba. He instructed them that once they arrive in Cuba, they should respect the party, government and leader of that country as well as local customs and socialist system.
Indeed, President Kim Il Sung is an outstanding leader of the world revolution and an epitome of internationalist obligation who spared no efforts in giving selfless support for the development of the world revolution, and for the prosperity and happiness of the progressive peoples.
The immortal feats performed by the great President Kim Il Sung in the cause of global independence will shine forever along with the history of international relations.
