On the 9th of September, 1948 the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was founded. This day marks a decisive point in the history of modern Korea. After nearly half a century of struggle against the Japanese imperialists, the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army under the wise leadership of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung defeated the enemy and liberated the country. But, the US troops occupied this southern part of the country and installed a puppet system with the traitor Syngman Rhee on the top of the government. Instead, the people in the northern half of Korea under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung abolished every kind of former feudalism and finished within a very short time an agrarian revolution and women equality. All these actions were inspired by the Juche idea, created by President Kim Il Sung. He recognised the reason why Korea got occupied by the Japanese. It was the fact, that the Korean feudal government always asked some big powers for help, if the country was attacked by foreign forces. The authorities never believed in the courage of the Korean people.

President Kim Il Sung realised that the most important for a country are independence and sovereignty.

President Kim Il Sung, hero of the anti-Japanese war, was elected the first Premier of the DPRK.

From the first day of his premiership, Kim Il Sung took every measure to develop the DPRK into an independent and sovereign country. This was the reason why the Korean People’s Army was able to emerge victorious in the Fatherland Liberation War by defeating the US and its vassal forces when they attacked the DPRK. After a three-year long war, the United States had to sign an armistice for the first time in history. The DPRK won the war, but the country was completely ruined. But also, in that time the DPRK stayed independent and didn’t join the COMECON. Kim Il Sung believed in the strength of the DPRK people. Within a few years the whole country was reconstructed even more beautifully than before. The DPRK was transformed from an agrarian state into an industrial state. The heroic fight of the DPRK people against the US domination inspired a lot of liberation movements all over the world. They realised that it was possible to win the liberation war against imperial powers. Many political leaders went to the DPRK to meet Kim Il Sung and asked for help and advises.

Kim Il Sung supported many of these liberation movements, and after their victory he sent workers and technicians to these countries to help their people to improve the economy and agriculture. Kim Il Sung became one of the most important leaders in the non-aligned movement. After the year 1989 when the socialist countries in Eastern Europe including the Soviet Union collapsed a difficult time for the people in the DPRK started.

During the Arduous March in the 1990s, the DPRK overcame all hardships. This was only possible because of the guidance of Leader Kim Jong Il. He developed the theory of Songun politics which means the military first. He prepared all the modern equipment for the Korean People’s Army to make them able to protect the sovereignty and independence of the country.

The United States and their allies in Europe and Asia have to realise that is impossible to attack the DPRK again. They create a lot of sanctions against the DPRK but all of them failed. Thanks to Leader Kim Jong Il, the people of the DPRK are invincible.

When Leader Kim Jong Il passed away in 2011, the imperialists started to attack the DPRK harder than ever. Their aim was to subdue and destroy every independent country in the world. That was the reason why they attacked Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and many other countries in the past. They are afraid to attack the DPRK, although they are looking for 70 years for a revenge for their defeat in the Korean war.

Thanks to Leader Kim Jong Un, the Korean People’s Army is able to respond to each kind of aggression in the same way. They can send atomic warheads with ICBM directly into the heart of the US if they start to attack the country.

Nowadays the DPRK is the only sovereign and independent country in the world which is not supressed by the US or the other imperialist countries.

In Europe all the countries are either big and overfull like Germany or weak and small like Austria. During the Ukrainian war all the EU-countries are forced to send weapons to Ukraine and make economic and political sanctions against Russia. The EU is forced to cut off the import of cheap oil and gasoline from Russia. Instead of that, the EU must import very expensive liquid gas from the US.

For this reason, the DPRK is a real light tower for the progressive people not only in Europe but other regions who are fighting against domination from the US.

The reality in the DPRK gives all the progressives an outlook of a bright future in their fatherlands when the foreign domination is overcome.

The DPRK gives the hopeless people hope, that a world without suppression is possible.

Under the guidance of Leader Kim Jong Un, the people of the DPRK develop their country every day into more modern socialist state.

The DPRK people are optimistic about their future, because they were guided by Leader Kim Jong Un.

All the progressive people in the world should learn from the DPRK. They must study the works of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
