It is very necessary to respect pluck and courage of the DPRK young people who rose up with profound sense of patriotism and burning hope, on the glorious day when the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was founded.
The Korean young people performed imperishable feats in the struggle to liberate their country. They always stood in the van of the struggle against Japanese imperialism with arms in their hands.
They kept discharging their historical missions also in the period of postwar rehabilitation and reconstruction. They played a key role in building socialist Korea. They were loyal to the leader by demonstrating great vitality, vigor and love for the people, and spared no efforts for the restoration of their nation and history.
Passion of young people comes out of love.
It was great love showed for them by Kim Il Sung who implanted ardent patriotism in their minds so that they could give full play to their strength. With his love in mind, they demonstrated their talents fully in the revolutionary struggle under the instruction of their leader.
Duty of the present generation who should inherit the revolutionary prosperity is to make constant efforts to realize with credit the noble work of succeeding the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung. As said by him, officials of the youth league should be solidly prepared in a political and ideological way and make strenuous and ceaseless efforts to enhance their level of consciousness.
The young people should discharge their historical missions entrusted to them and become vanguards in the building of a prosperous powerful country, to consummate with victory the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung. It is because the world revival is decided by their role.
Long live the young people in the past, the present and the future of the powerful and prosperous DPRK!
