Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
Going round the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, he touched on dovetailing the production processes in a rational way and constantly raising the processing capacity and accuracy of equipment to fully produce facilities needed in different sectors of the national economy.
He pointed out that the officials, workers and technicians should push ahead with the modernization of production processes in a planned way and put efforts into the technical innovations for increasing the efficiency of the generating equipment in particular.
At the Kumsong Tractor Factory he learned about the production and performance of various farm machines and referred to developing and producing more farm machines of high efficiency suited to the actual conditions of Korea and sending them to the socialist countryside.
Looking round the venue of the "Provincial Building-Materials Exhibition--2023" and the venue of the national technical experience presentation and exhibition of scientific research findings in the field of agriculture, he stressed the need to ensure home production of building materials and improve their quality and widely share and generalize the agricultural sci-tech successes and experiences and thus make a substantial contribution to the stable and sustainable development of the agricultural production.
Relevant issues were discussed and necessary measures taken at the consultative meetings held on the spot.
