The socialist patriotic movement, a revolutionary mass movement, is actively conducted in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Typical is the movement to create Forest of Socialist Patriotism for successful forest restoration.
The movement is conducted at the direct proposal of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Kim Jong Un visited the Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection in November Juche 103(2014). Talking about the forest situation of the country at that time, he stressed the urgency to conduct a mass movement as regards the forest creation.
And he called for conducting the movement to create Forest of Socialist Patriotism.
True to his patriotic appeal, the whole country turned out to conduct the movement.
More than 1,930 units were awarded the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism until March Juche 112(2023) after a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on awarding the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism to the exemplary units was made public in January Juche 108(2019).
The movement to create Forest of Socialist Patriotism, which started in 2015, is gaining momentum all the more with each passing day thanks to the patriotic enthusiasm of the entire people.
