Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China sent a congratulatory message to the Fifth National Meeting of Mothers on December 3.
The message extended warm congratulations and respects to the mothers in the homeland, who have brought up many sons and daughters to reliably carry forward the revolutionary cause of Juche and made a great contribution to the prosperity of the DPRK and to letting advantages of the Korean-style socialist system together with other women in the country, on the occasion of the significant meeting.
The great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung made it sure that the National Meeting of Mothers was convened for the first time in the history of the country on November 16, 1961 and made a historic speech "The Duty of Mothers in the Education of Children" in which he clarified the ways for mothers to fulfill their responsibility and role, the message said, adding:
Under the care of the great leaders, mothers in the homeland have fulfilled their duty of the times for the country and the nation by displaying noble loyalty and ardent patriotism in every annals of the revolution.
The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un , who is protecting and bringing into full bloom the happy life of our women true to the noble intention of the great leaders, saw to it that the significant day when Kim Il Sung , the fatherly leader, made a speech at the First National Meeting of Mothers was instituted as Mother's Day and the Fourth National Meeting of Mothers was held on the occasion of the first mothers' holiday. And he showed great loving care for the Korean women in China by inviting them to the meeting.
The Fifth National Meeting of Mothers will serve as a significant meeting in greatly encouraging the mothers to fulfill their duty and role in the on-going general advance for hastening the building of a powerful socialist country, more deeply cherishing the ardent loyalty to the Party's cause and a noble sense of duty for the future of the country. -0-
