A performance was given on December 6 to congratulate mothers who were blessed by the great Party Central Committee at the Fifth National Conference of Mothers.
Artistes of major art troupes including the State Merited Chorus and Samjiyon Orchestra appeared on the stage.
They staged a variety of numbers including hymns to the Workers’ Party and famous songs in praise of Korean mothers.
Many Korean Children’s Union members congratulated mothers as they presented flowers to them.
Songs resounded one after another in praise of the contribution of mothers, who have promoted the country’s strength by dint of ardent patriotic loyalty and maternal affection and cultivated the beautiful garden of a big socialist family on a long journey of the revolution.
The participants gave warm applause to the artistes who gave warm congratulations and encouragement by dint of an excellent performance.
