The participants in the Fifth National Conference of Mothers toured various places in the capital city of Pyongyang amid warm congratulations of citizens.

They visited Mangyongdae, the time-honoured sacred place of the revolution.

They looked round the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum and then entered the yard of the old home of President Kim Il Sung. Being told the story of how the President grew up to be a revolutionary, nurturing a high ambition to liberate the country while receiving good education from his parents, the visitors saw the relics preserved with much care at the historic home.

At the Korean Revolution Museum, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery, the participants in the conference of mothers keenly realized that the highest glory of their life lies in following and supporting the Workers’ Party of Korea invariably with single mind, while recollecting the noble lives of the ardent loyalists and forerunners who are immortal on the road of devotion to the Party and the revolution, the country and the people.

They also toured Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, the highest institute of education for the children of revolutionary martyrs, and Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans and Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans.

At the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, they encouraged the workers who are making innovations to conclude this year with proud successes in production.

The mothers spent a pleasant time at the Munsu Water Park, Rungna People’s Pleasure Park, Amusement Park of Kaeson Youth Park, Central Zoo, Natural History Museum, Okryu Restaurant, Chongnyu Restaurant and other service facilities.
