One July day in 2015 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un told officials to start tourism by sightseeing on planes.
A few days later when he examined a document on the sightseeing, Kim Jong Un said that airlines were not proper. The officials saw that the planes flew along the outskirts of Pyongyang City as they made consideration of safety of the capital city and the economic calculation.
Kim Jong Un said that the sightseeing airlines should be fixed to make the tourist planes fly over Pyongyang City so that the people could have a bird’s eye view of Pyongyang City changing remarkably with passage of time. He said that there should be more airlines to enable the people to go for sightseeing to the West Sea Barrage, Mt Kuwol and other scenic spots in good seasons, thus making them enjoy beautiful natural sceneries of the country. Kim Jong Un also said that, as the Party determined to start sightseeing on planes for the people, it was necessary to create more airlines to make the people pleased with sightseeing.
Later Kim Jong Un gave meticulous instructions on selecting planes for sightseeing and sightseeing flight ad, on properly managing interior and exterior of the planes and setting and checking the planes in good condition, on organizing trial flight for senior officials to study whether they can make the people pleased and happy and on serving the people with national and well-known foods after sightseeing flight.
Thanks to his care, the first sightseeing plane took the people on board to fly on November 8, 2015.
