Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson recently expressed strong opposition to the faultfinding practices of the FBI Director who accused China of being the world’s biggest hacker state.
Saying that it was irresponsible of the U.S. to draw a conclusion without persuasive evidence and groundlessly criticize China, he denounced the U.S. as the very first developer and perpetrator of the scheme and acts of systematic cyberattacks.
He went on to say that the U.S. Cyber Command openly defined the major infrastructure of other countries as legitimate target of its cyberattacks.
He also referred to the series of reports released by cyber security institutions of China since last year, revealing the prolonged U.S. cyberattacks on major infrastructure of China, and warned that the irresponsible policy and tricks of the U.S. are about to put the major infrastructure around the world in grave danger.
In conclusion, he strongly demanded that the U.S. suspend the stealing of secrets and cyberattacks on the Internet, and stop its smear campaign against other countries with the issue of cyber security.
