Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The 77th grand candlelight march was staged in Seoul on Feb. 17 to impeach the puppet and traitor Yoon Suk Yeol impeach for escalating the danger of a nuclear war through war drills in collusion with outsiders and for wrecking the people's life through the fascist dictatorial rule.
Amid the chanting of "Only the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol is peace and a way out for the people!", "Let us oust Yoon Suk Yeol by the efforts of the people!" and other slogans, the candlelight rally was held on the theme of "Let us build the National Assembly for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol through the great unity of the democratic forces!"
Attending the rally were a large number of people from all walks of life from different areas.
The participants in the rally let loose their anger towards the traitor Yoon Suk Yeol, a war maniac, fascist dictator and chief culprit in damaging the people's livelihood, holding placards that said, "Only the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol is public welfare and peace!", "Conduct a special investigation into Kim Kon Hui and impeach Yoon Suk Yeol", etc.
Read out was an appeal calling on all the people from all walks of life to turn out in the action to remove Yoon Suk Yeol from power as he fools and deceives the people and is bent on maintaining the dictatorial power.
Meanwhile, mass organizations of the puppet ROK issued appeals one after another to call upon the people of all social standings to resolutely conduct candlelight actions for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol through their great unity.
The organizations said that the election of puppet national assemblymen for judging Yoon was nearing and that the two-year tenure of office by Yoon Suk Yeol should be thoroughly judged and he should be impeached through the forthcoming election.
The organizations said that the public have already impeached Yoon and that it is just him who damaged peace and the people's livelihood. And they called for preventing the arbitrary practices of the prosecution dictatorial force and realizing peace and democracy desired by the public sentiment by concentrating all efforts on the impeachment of Yoon. -0-
