Premier Kim Tok Hun makes field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province and Nampho City

Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in South Phyongan Province and Nampho City.
At farms and food administration stations in Sukchon, Mundok and Ryonggang Counties, he learned in detail about the immediate farming preparations and the grain processing.
He stressed the need to cultivate wheat and barley in a scientific way and make foresighted preparations for coping with the disastrous abnormal climate to reap a good harvest in the farming of early crops. He called on the agricultural guidance organs and relevant units to produce and supply accessories of farm machines and farming materials on a top-priority basis.
He said the food administration stations should constantly intensify the research for modernizing the grain-processing processes so that their economic effectiveness and scientific and technological guarantee can be proved in reality true to the Party's policy on providing the people with well-processed grains.
Going round the construction site of the local industrial factory in Sukchon County to be built according to the Party's "Regional Development 20×10 Policy", Premier Kim understood their plots and scale and the rationality of their production capacities before discussing the issues on the creation of raw material bases.
In the meantime, he visited the designing section of the Non-Permanent Central Committee for the Promotion of Regional Development 20×10 and discussed the ways for completing the designs of the local industrial factories at an early date true to the plan and intention of the Party Central Committee. At the Aeguk Knitwear Factory, he took measures to finish the production of school uniforms qualitatively before the new school year.
