Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons and builders in charge of tideland reclamation on the west coast of the DPRK are striving to carry out the important task set forth at the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Servicepersons in charge of reclamation of Aedo, Naejangdo and Taesuapdo tidelands have concentrated efforts on the reclamation project after completing the construction of makeshift buildings and roads.
The soldiers in charge of Yangchon Tideland reclamation finished the first cofferdam project in a short span of time. And those in charge of Sokhwa Tideland and Woejanggot Tideland reclamation are introducing rational technical innovations and increasing the rate of operation of vehicles.
Officials and builders of the tideland reclamation general enterprises across the country are pushing ahead with the project in full swing by emulating the fighting spirit of service personnel.
The North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise built thousands of meter-long dykes in a little more than two months since the start of the first district project for Aedo Tideland.
Similar successes have been made by South Hwanghae and South Phyongan provincial tideland reclamation general enterprises. -0-
