Despite the denunciation and criticism from the international community, Israel is orchestrating another genocide as it is engaged in a bloody war of destruction in the Gaza Strip of Palestine.

As is known, at the outset of their invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli authorities demanded Palestinians living in the northern and middle areas move to the south on the pretext of the “safety” of civilians, posing as a benefactor as if they would provide them with a means of living.

As a result, people continued to throng to the small city of Rafah. At present, 1.4 million Palestinian evacuees are inhabiting there.

With great numbers of people thronging to the narrow area, the Israeli Prime Minister ordered military authorities to draw up a ground operation plan in the city. The Israeli aggression forces have committed acts of attack every day including indiscriminate bombing and shelling on the city under the signboard of “attack on terrorist objects”.

They killed dozens of peaceful residents by dropping a bomb on a house inhabited by evacuees on February 11 and mobilized warplanes, tanks and warships on the following day to run amok for man-killing.

Due to the reckless acts of Israel, over a hundred people lost their lives and hundreds of others including women and children were wounded in and around the city on February 12 alone.

A spokesman for the Israeli forces said without hesitation that it is very effective to slay two residents for killing one Hamas combatant. When recollecting the remarks, the present situation clearly shows that the ongoing atrocities are deliberate and conscious actions geared to annihilating the Palestinian nation.

The mayor of Rafah said that Israel intensified bombing for the past few hours and this constitutes the preparation for conducting a military operation in the city.

It is as clear as day that when the large-scale ground operation is launched, the whole city will be reduced to a mass grave of Palestinians.

The international community now stubbornly demands that Israel stop manslaughter immediately, unable to suppress their towering anger at its reckless military action.

The Middle East countries said all at once that a humanitarian disaster will strike Rafah, the last refuge for lots of people and that Israel’s wild ambition poses a serious threat to the regional stability.

Saying that the innocent residents in the Gaza Strip should not be left going to ruin, different European countries strongly assert that the noncommittal attitude should no longer be taken in connection with the crisis in the area.

One nation has entered a dangerous phase of complete annihilation due to Israel’s manslaughter, which is unthinkable apart from the US’ sinister intention to keep the Mideast region under its thumb by using Israel as a pawn.

As regards the fact that Algeria submitted a resolution to the UN Security Council in demand of immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the US ambassador to the UN said on February 17 that the US does not support the resolution and that even if it is put to a vote, it will fail to be adopted.

The murderers will be given a stern punishment by mankind as they do not hesitate to commit massacre to realize their wild ambition for territorial expansion under the active patronage and protection of the US, an empire of evil, which came into being on the heaps of corpses of Native Americans.
