Dynamic efforts are made across the country to lay material and technical foundations for normal production of the local industrial factories to be built according to the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The provincial non-permanent committees for the promotion of regional development 20×10 set the stepwise goals in a realistic and scientific way, enhance the role of the members of the sections concerned and strengthen guidance to make cities and counties create raw material bases in a foresighted way according to the long-term plans.
The provincial, city and county committees of the WPK push ahead with the creation of raw material bases as the work of the Party committees so that the local industrial factories can prove effective from the first year of construction in keeping with the active promotion of the modernization of regional industry.
Officials of 20 cities and counties in which new local industrial factories will be built this year take into full account the area of land and forest distribution in their regions, timely solve the problems arising in clearing the land for raw material bases and rouse the masses to the struggle to turn all mountains into useful golden mountains.
