The Ryugyong Mushroom Farm has reaped a rich mushroom harvest.
The farm has directed primary efforts to putting the mushroom production on a highly scientific and intensive footing, boosting production.
The undertakings for continuously increasing the mushroom production are correctly promoted according to the technical development plan of the farm, including the research and introduction of different kinds of nutrients and substitute substrates needed for production of fungi and mushroom cultivation.
A remarkable progress was also made in the work for recycling the waste substrates more than three times.
In winter with low temperature, the farm cultivates mainly the white club-shaped mushroom and hackberry mushroom along with low-temperature agaric so as to ensure smooth production while getting over the effect by weather conditions and saving energy.
The cultivators are carefully reaping the appetizing mushrooms one after another lest they should be damaged even a little. Their bright faces represent a determination to contribute to making the dietary life of the capital citizens more abundant.
