A modern general hospital is to be built in Jonchon County of Jagang Province.
Groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build the Jonchon County Hospital was held on the spot on the 22nd.
Present there were Han Chil Song, Secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and working people of Jonchon County.
Kim Yong Jun, Vice-Chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, addressed the ceremony to be followed by speeches.
Speakers said the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un clarified the concrete direction and ways to build modern hospitals in the cities and counties across the country and solved all problems arising in the construction.
They called on the officials and working people in the province to complete the hospital wonderfully, true to the lofty intention of the Party which set it as the eternal state policy of the DPRK to constantly develop the public health service.
