82nd birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il celebrated at DPRK missions abroad Seminars on the exploits of the great leader Kim Jong Il, meetings, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and receptions took place at the missions of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk of Russia, Viet Nam, Laos, Mongolia, Syria, Singapore, Iran, India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico and Venezuela, the DPRK permanent mission to the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva and the DPRK permanent mission to the United Nations between the 7th and the 16th on the occasion of his 82nd birth anniversary.
Invited to the events were personages of the parliaments, governments, political parties, friendship and solidarity organizations, Juche idea study organizations and institutions and foreign diplomatic representatives in those countries. Present there were officials of the DPRK missions.
Screened at the film shows were Korean documentaries and video programs showing the spirit of advance, invincible might and development of the DPRK which is achieving overall development of socialism under the leadership of the great Workers' Party of Korea.
Boundless reverence for Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was expressed at the events, who built the DPRK into a powerful country of independence and put its strategic position and national power on the highest plane with their outstanding idea and distinguished leadership.
