Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The twelfth enlarged plenary meeting of the tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League (SPYL) took place on March 7.
Attending it were members and alternate members of the SPYL Central Committee. Present as observers were officials of the SPYL Central Committee and youth league officials from ministries, national agencies, provinces, cities and counties.
The enlarged plenary meeting discussed the issue of thoroughly implementing the Regional Development 20×10 Policy of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Paek Un Chol, vice-chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made a report.
The reporter said that the Regional Development 20×10 Policy is the immortal programme and the most revolutionary, people-oriented and scientific policy that can be shaped only by the WPK, which regards the people's laugh and happiness as a symbol of the socialist system and a criterion for determining the position of a powerful country.
He called upon all the youth league officials and members to fulfill their honorable mission and duty as the socialist patriotic youth in the sacred advance for glorifying a great new history in which changes are brought about in regions under the grand blueprint unrolled by the Party Central Committee.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
