The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea spares nothing for the rising generations.

Even if the country is in difficulties and there are many sectors to invest in, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un makes sure that the Party and the government push ahead with the work for the good of children, regarding it not so much as an economic issue but as a political work guaranteeing a rosy future of the country.

At the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea last year, he reiterated that it is the consistent policy of the WPK and the eternal national policy that the Party and the government take the responsibility for the supply of necessities to schoolchildren. And he indicated the principled issues for relevant organs including the Ministry of Light Industry, Party and power organs at all levels and production units around the country to maintain in the production and supply of school uniforms, satchels and shoes—an issue to be steadily pushed forward as an undertaking involving the entire Party and the whole country in the new year. And he also specified the ways to this end.

It is a shared desire of mothers to make their children well-dressed.

Reading their mind and with intent to make the rising generations presentable, he took a crucial measure at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee to provide all the students throughout the country with new-style uniforms and satchels at the state’s expense.

On January 1, 2022, he examined each sample of new uniforms, and in January this year, he saw to it that officials and researchers from different universities and institutions were dispatched to the eastern and western parts of the country to hold more than two rounds of training courses a year and that a video of the production of uniforms for different schools was made and sent to all provinces.

Accordingly, a revised version of instruction manual was issued across the country, with relevant garment researchers and technicians giving training courses for local producers.

Last year, an instruction manual for measurement was worked out to make the uniforms fit students well. This is the first of its kind in the history of the clothing industry of the country. The fact is a showcase of Kim Jong Un ’s noble outlook on the rising generations and the future.

His lofty ideal is also reflected in the nutritive foodstuffs such as dairy products, Sonamu-brand satchels, Mindulle-brand notebooks and Haebaragi-brand school things that are provided to children across the country.

Thanks to his noble outlook that takes children’s bright smile as a symbol of the socialist system and the image of Korean-style socialism, every nook and cranny of the country resounds with their cheerful laughter.
