Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un receives message of greeting from Syrian president

Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on April 7.
The Syrian president, in the message, extended warm congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 112th anniversary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, hoping that the friendly DPRK would achieve steady development and prosperity and grow stronger.
He said that President Kim Il Sung, who embarked on the road of struggle against colonialism and for freedom and independence of the country in his early years, led the country to prosperity, founded the idea of human emancipation and rendered active support to the national liberation movements throughout the world, performing immortal exploits.
He hoped that the two countries would strengthen the historic relations of friendship and develop bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of the two countries and thereby overcome all challenges.
