A national industrial art exhibition opened under the theme "New Era of Overall National Prosperity and Industrial Art" in celebration of April 15, the birthday of the great leader Kim Il Sung.
Its opening ceremony was held at the Industrial Art Exhibition House of the Trademark, Industrial Design and Geographical Indication Office of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 10th.
Present there were Kim Myong Hun, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet, Ri Chung Gil, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, An Kyong Gun, Minister of Machine-Building Industry, officials concerned, and officials and creators in the field of industrial art.
The Vice-Premier of the Cabinet made an opening address.
He said the current exhibition is a significant occasion glorifying the immortal exploits performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of industrial art of the country and showing the proud development of the Juche-oriented industrial art.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
Displayed there are photographs of Kim Jong Un giving field guidance to different sectors of the national economy.
Also on display are more than 230 industrial art designs guided by Kim Jong Un and over 670 industrial art designs, models and products of different kinds created by experts and amateurs.
