Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) and art group members of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the SWUK gave a performance at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on April 12 in celebration of the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the SWUK Central Committee, and officials of the women's union and union members in the city.
The performance began with chorus "Our Great Holiday". The performers sang of the feats of President Kim Il Sung who clearly showed the road ahead of the Juche-oriented women's movement and put forward the Korean women as a powerful force in socialist construction.
Chorus "This Is Thanks to the Songun Politics of General" reminded the audience of the patriotic devotion of Chairman Kim Jong Il , who covered ceaseless long and thorny path to the front to make all the people enjoy all the benefits of socialism.
Put on the stage were numbers reflecting the absolute trust in the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is dynamically leading Korean-style socialism to comprehensive development.
The performance showed high enthusiasm of the women's union officials and members to fully display the Korean women's strong mental power and devotion in the ongoing advance for bringing a new era of comprehensive national prosperity along the road of victory indicated by the great Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. It ended with poem and chorus "Oh Party, It's Thanks to Your Care" and "We Are the Happiest in the World". -0-
