112th birthday of President Kim Il Sung celebrated in China A meeting was held in Beijing on the 9th under the co-sponsorship of the embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in China and the China World Peace Foundation to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung.
Present there were the DPRK ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to China and staff members of his embassy, the Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, officials of the institutions concerned including the Beijing City People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Beijing International Peace and Culture Foundation, and families of those related to the anti-Japanese revolution.
The participants watched a video program showing the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung together with the Chinese leaders of old generation for the strengthening and development of the DPRK-China friendship.
Speeches were made and a congratulatory letter to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
