Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Amid ever-growing public anger and hatred at the puppet Yoon Suk Yeol, war maniac, fascist dictator and evil murderer, and his group in puppet ROK, the 85th candlelight rally and demonstration took place in Seoul on April 13 in demand of the impeachment of Yoon.
People from all walks of life turned out in the mass struggle for the impeachment of Yoon in the spirit they displayed in inflicting a crushing defeat upon the "People's Power Party" in the puppet National Assembly election.
Recalling the defeat suffered by the "People's Power Party" in the election, the co-representative of the Candlelight Action and other speakers said that the pent-up anger of the candlelight demonstrators mete out stern punishment upon the Yoon group's "People's Power Party".
They called on all people of different social standings to turn out in the joint struggle once again to impeach Yoon without fail, saying that they should not give his group a breathing spell.
Reminding the participants that April 16 marks the lapse of 10 years since the disaster of ferry Sewol occurred, they said the responsibility not only falls on the captain and the crew who escaped leaving passengers locked in the ship but also on Park Geun Hye who was keen on maintaining her "presidency" only in disregard of the lives of people in danger.
At the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration in Seoul, chanting slogans demanding impeachment of Yoon.
Earlier, the Candlelight Action held an emergency press conference outside the building of the Minju Party, urging the puppet National Assembly to opt for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol, as desired by the public.
Puppet ROK media commented in their articles that the trend of the times has been oriented to impeachment of Yoon. -0-
