Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Overseas compatriots took part in the 33rd April Spring Friendship Art Festival, a festival singing in praise of great men to celebrate the significant April holiday as a great auspicious event common to humankind.

An art troupe of Koreans in Japan, with high pride and self-respect of overseas citizens of Juche Korea, put on the festival stage such numbers as prologue "Warm Love of Motherland" and a national instrumental duet "Towards the Future".

The performers sang loudly of the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , who gave origin to the Juche-based overseas compatriots' movement and showed deep loving care for Koreans in Japan.

A male solo "Homeland is Marshal Kim Jong Un " and a mixed chorus "Chongryon, Forward Following Marshal Kim Jong Un " showed the steadfast will of Koreans in Japan to trust and follow only the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the destiny and future of the country and nation, and dynamically open a new heyday of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan).

An art troupe of Koreans in China, too, put colorful numbers on the stage. They included a dance "Song of Big Hauls in the Sea" and an instrumental ensemble "Sea of Apple Trees at the Foot of Chol Pass" that show the eye-opening changes of the socialist homeland, which is thriving day by day under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un ushering in a new era of comprehensive development with his noble devotion to the people's wellbeing, and the happy looks of the DPRK people.

A Korean soloist in Kazakhstan sang the song "Our Leader" with boundless reverence for the peerlessly great man. -0-
