Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday carries an article on the occasion of the Eleventh Congress of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.
There are young people in all countries but there is no country as powerful as ours where the congress of youths is held with splendor under the special care and solicitude of the Party, the state and the people and the sky-high spirit and enthusiasm of the youths are fully displayed as the inexhaustible strength of the country, the article says, and goes on:
The Korean youths are a symbol of the mightiness of our state whose independent rights and dignity are reliably defended.
The dignity of a powerful state is not given by anyone, but must be defended and glorified by the efforts of its people. The state, where a large contingent of righteous and brave young people are standing in the forefront for defending its interests and enhancing its prestige, will demonstrate its might as an eternal bulwark of dignity.
It is the desire of life and purification of patriotism of the youths in our times to devote their precious youth and beautiful hopes without hesitation for the high dignity and honor of the country, their destiny and eternal future.
Now, our reliable and presentable young people are defending this land as the impregnable fortress with arms in their hands at every trench of the country's defence line
The DPRK will remain impregnable forever as the large contingent of defenders are spending their precious youth life with arms for the dignity and prosperity of our great state and finding honor and pride in it.
The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un , who bears responsibility for the present and future of the Party and the revolution, the country and the people, has trained the young people into a reliable vanguard for national prosperity with the steadfast revolutionary spirit and extraordinary creativity through the gigantic practical process embracing all fields of struggle for transformation in the new era. This is the great feat that can be performed only by the respected General Secretary.
