There is an eye-catching sapling exhibition hall of the Munsubong technology exchange centre on Hwasong Street which was built as the home of working people.
The exhibition hall filled with saplings of 100-odd species of trees and over 30 species of flowering plants is always packed with visitors.
“People say that our exhibition hall is a comprehensive service unit that can contribute greatly to landscaping,” said manageress Kim Jin A.
She added that the hall not only introduces and sells saplings of various species of trees but also informs others of greening technology and conducts exchange with different research units.
On the ground floor where a variety of young trees and flowering plants are on display to give a feeling of entering a forest, some customers continue to see saplings carefully or ask service workers about the biological features of flowers in front of them and young people take photos of exhibited saplings and flowering plants one by one.
Meanwhile, some visitors watch videos introducing various young trees and others throng into a place where landscaping technology is diffused to learn about the greening technology.
The first floor draws the special attention of visitors as the walls are decorated with plants distinctively.
Saying that people’s demand to live and work in a more civilized environment along with the developing times grows as the days go by, service workers added that plants necessary for wall greening enjoy popularity among the customers.
“Through visitors, we can proudly sense people’s ever increasing interest in cultural and emotional life and landscaping. They often visit the exhibition hall to spruce up their workplaces and dwellings built by the government,” said attendant Kim Hyon Hui.
Kim Hye Song who has worked in the landscaping sector said that she is pleased to have sprayers and water pails as they are convenient to use and good to look, adding that a variety of flower pots in different shapes add beauty to the flowers.
As they leave the unusual exhibition hall on the new street, people say that they feel as if they were looking at the beautiful landscape to be spread in every place of the capital city.
