A seminar took place at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on May 15 to mark the tenth anniversary of the publication of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's famous work "Let Us Usher in a New Heyday of the Juche-oriented Art and Literature as Required by the Times and the Developing Revolution".
Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, creators, artistes, writers, lecturers, researchers, journalists, editors and students.
Papers on the validity and vitality of the ideology and theory set forth in the work were published by Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu, Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of the Unions of Art and Literature of Korea Kim In Bom, President of the Mansudae Art Studio U Ung Ho, Vice Director-General of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry Kim Jong Ho, and Director of the Juche Literature Institute of the Academy of Social Sciences Kim Chol.
Speakers said that the work of Kim Jong Un is an immortal great programme illuminating the path of building Juche-oriented art and literature in the new century.
The ideology of art and literature on giving importance to literature and directing primary efforts to developing literature is an important guarantee for bringing about a great revolution in all fields of art and literature, they said.
The ideology of Kim Jong Un on Juche-oriented film aesthetics serves as an immortal banner guaranteeing the great victory of the second Korean film revolution, they stressed.
They proved that the work is a great programme for practice which opened up a new phase of development of Juche-oriented fine art.
They called for ushering in a new heyday of Juche-oriented art and literature by holding fast to the original aesthetic ideology clarified by Kim Jong Un as the lifeline and thus glorifying the great era of Kim Jong Un with success in creating masterpieces.
