The Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was grandly held in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in January Juche 110(2021).
The congress held under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, seriously discussed and decided on huge tasks to provide the people with better and stabilized living conditions and environment as soon as possible.
Kim Jong Un specially stressed that the decision of the Party congress is an oath made by the WPK to the revolution and the people and at the same time, the supreme order given by the great people to the Party Central Committee.
It represents his intention that the Party regarding the people as the God and existing for them should implement the order given by the people unconditionally and thoroughly without an inch of deflection.
At the congress Kim Jong Un said that as in the past, so in the future, our Party will remain infinitely faithful to the people-first principle and do its best to continue to achieve fresh victory in socialist construction.
Under his leadership the WPK is further strengthened and developed into the motherly Party which is making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people with full responsibility for their destiny.
