Choe Ryong Hae inspects different places in North Hwanghae Province and city of Nampho

Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors in North Hwanghae Province and the city of Nampho.
Looking round the Unjong Stockbreeding Farm under the Rural Economy Committee of North Hwanghae Province and the Zootechnics Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science, he learned about the production and supply of dairy products and scientific researches and emphasized that the officials, working people and researchers should do their duty.
At the Migok Farm in the city of Sariwon, the Chongsan Farm in Kangso District and the Chonggye Cotton Plantation in Pongsan County, he encouraged the agricultural workers who are concentrating efforts on the farming and acquainted himself with the immediate farming process.
He said the officials should give a scientific guidance to the farming thoroughly on the basis of the party policy and underscored the need to finish the rice-transplantation in quality and at the right time, take care of nutrition of the transplanted seedlings and manure and cultivate the first crops in a scientific and technological way, take thoroughgoing measures to overcome the influence of abnormal climate and further perfect the irrigation system.
In addition, he touched on disseminating the agricultural science and technology in a substantial way and increasing the proportion of the farm work done by machines and emphasized that the deputies to the power organs should perform their responsibility and role in implementing the agricultural policy of the Party.
Going round the Sariwon City Food Administration Station, he underscored the need to carry out the grain-processing plan without fail.
Choe Ryong Hae visited raw material base stations in the city of Sariwon and Kangso District and stressed the need to make a realistic plan for the creation of raw material bases according to the economic conditions of the regions and implement it persistently.
