Volleyball and badminton games of the National Sports Contest of University Teachers and Students--2024 and the National Paduk Contest in the Field of Education--2024 took place at gymnasiums of universities in Pyongyang and the Holy Taekwon-Do Hall.
Attending the volleyball and badminton games were tens of units including Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology.
The games were held, divided into categories of universities under the central authority and provincial universities. The first place was taken by Kim Il Sung University and the Phyongsong University of Medical Sciences in the men's volleyball game and by the Wonsan Jong Jun Thaek University of Economics in the women's volleyball game. Kim Chaek University of Technology came first in the badminton game.
On the other hand, the national paduk contest in the field of education held at the Holy Taekwon-Do Hall brought together more than 200 kindergarten and primary school children selected from across the country. The players competed in the team and individual games divided into categories of kindergarten and primary school.
The first place was taken by the city of Pyongyang, the second place by South Hamgyong Province and the third place by South Hwanghae Province and the city of Nampho in the team events.
