Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of sympathy to Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the 23rd as regards the fact that Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian was killed in an accident.
The message said Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian was a proficient and experienced diplomatic activist who made a great contribution to defending the sovereignty and legitimate right of Iran and boosting the international prestige of the country.
It expressed the belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Iran associated with his precious efforts would continue to expand and develop on the road of anti-imperialist independence and hoped that the bereaved families would resume a stable life as soon as possible.
