While giving field guidance to Chongjin Port in June Juche 63(1974), the great leader Kim Il Sung indicated issues arising in its construction, management and operation one by one.
The great leader Kim Jong Il gave his revolutionary leadership to Chongjin Port, gave precious instructions on its strengthening and development and led it at every step to take the lead in the implementation of the party policies.
Over the past 50 years the port has greatly increased the cargo traffic and keeping capacity and overfulfilled its assignments under the national economic plan every year, the reporter added.
