Artistes from central artistic organizations are conducting vigorous motivation activities for increased production in every workplace to encourage officials and working people who are out in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Between mid-May and early June, members of motivation teams for increased production who toured farms fired agricultural workers and helpers with the zeal for reaping a good harvest without fail this year, a decisive year for confirming the victory in hitting the targets set at the Eighth Congress of the WPK.
Artistes from the Phibada Opera Troupe and the National Theatrical Troupe went round farms in Pyongyang to give performances full of vigour and optimism. Members of the central youth artistic motivation team started their performance in Sinchon County of South Hwanghae Province, staging a variety of numbers, including motivation and mixed chorus “Dear Father” and male solo “Bright is Our Future”.
The distinctive motivation performances given by big-name artistic groups without ceremony in the fields met with high acclaim of farmers all the way.
They conducted such activities also at the Sangwon Cement Complex.
A motivation team formed with artistes from the Phibada Opera Troupe, National Theatrical Troupe and National Acrobatic Troupe instilled into the workers making innovations in cement production confidence and optimism by dint of songs, narratives, magic and various other works.
Male vocal quartet “Toward another Upsurge under the Uplifted Banner of Self-reliance” fired working people with enthusiasm to fulfil their production plans ahead of schedule through uninterrupted innovation and offensive.
After hearing lyric poem “I Am the Son of a Worker”, workers of the complex said that they deeply felt the boundless gratitude towards the WPK and the socialist system which identify working people as masters of the country and vowed to return the love and favour shown by the Party and the country by producing more cement.
Physical stunt “The Country I Defend” earned a high accolade from the audience for the consummate skills and elegant and refined movements of acrobats, livening up the atmosphere.
The audience kept expressing admiration for the amazing acrobatic feats as they enjoyed the performance which they had been able to see only at the acrobatic theatre.
