Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Young vanguard members across the DPRK are in the van of the current advance towards the comprehensive development of state, true to the decisions of the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
More than 150 young people in South Phyongan Province advanced into bustling sites for implementing the Party's decisions.
More than 100 young people volunteered for youth shock brigades of coal mines in Sunchon, Tokchon, Kaechon and other areas with a pledge to glorify their youth in the van of the struggle for attaining 12 major goals of national economic development.
Discharged soldiers in Hoechang County and young people in Yangdok, Songchon, Sukchon and other counties volunteered to work at the raw material bases in their areas, vowing to uphold the Regional Development 20×10 Policy of the Party.
A meeting to congratulate them took place in Phyongsong City on Thursday.
Present at the meeting were Ri Kyong Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the youth league and young people. Volunteer certificates were conferred on them and congratulatory address and speeches were made.
