Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the railway transport sector of the DPRK are displaying their high enthusiasm to implement the decisions made at the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The Ministry of Railways has conducted organizational and political work to carry out the freight transport plan for the successful implementation of the regional-industry development policy.
The Pyongyang Railway Bureau has drawn up appropriate timetables of freight cars and increased passing capacity, fulfilling its daily quotas.
The Sinsongchon Service Brigade of Engine has raised the actual operation rate of locomotives and conducted self-checking and self-repairing.
The Hamhung Railway Bureau is expanding successes in the transport of such freights as cement and rolled steel for the construction of regional-industry factories.
