Memorial services took place in provinces (municipalities) of the DPRK on July 8, the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung .

Present there were officials of regional Party and power organs, working people's organizations, industrial establishments, farms and universities, working people and youth and students.

All the participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the President with their profound reverence for him.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

Senior officials of provinces (municipalities) made memorial addresses.

The speakers said that the revolutionary career of President Kim Il Sung was the one of a great revolutionary and a great man, who performed miracles unprecedented in history and created an image of immortality to be remembered for all ages by devoting himself to the country and the people with an absolute and profound love for them.

The President organized and led the revolutionary struggle at all stages and domains ranging from the national liberation movement to the establishment of the socialist system, nature-remaking, social transformation and human remolding and adorned the whole course with glorious victories and trailblazing successes, they said, and went on:

The greatest of his exploits for the country, the revolution, the history and the people is the ideo-theoretical feat he performed as he ushered in a new era of historical development in the brilliant rays of the Juche idea.

His whole life was featured by the immortal exploits he performed by taking back the deprived dignity of his country and people and glorifying it further under the banner of independence and self-reliance.

The august name of President Kim Il Sung , who made immortal contributions to the international communist movement and the human cause of independence under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism, served as the militant banner and signpost of victory for the fighters and progressive people who stood against oppression and tyranny, and the boundless reverence of mankind for him is linked with his recognized prestige as a leader of the communist movement and an elder statesman of the world.

It is his greatest feat for the revolution and the future that he solved the issue of succession to the leadership most correctly and reliably for the generations to come.

The speakers called upon all officials, Party members and other working people to continuously write the history of the powerful Kim Il Sung 's nation and realize without fail his ideals for the building of a powerful country by bringing about ceaseless transformations and innovations in all fields of bolstering up the national power and building socialism, true to the idea and intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , holding fast to Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the eternal lifeline.

The memorial services fully showed the unshakable faith and will of the participants to thoroughly implement the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the plenary meetings of the WPK Central Committee under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus strikingly demonstrate the validity and immortal vitality of the Korean ideology and cause and courageously usher in a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation.
