A grand inaugural ceremony of Jonwi Street was held in the capital city of Pyongyang on May 14.
Young people built the modern street.
They wonderfully built more than 4,100 dwelling houses and many public establishments only in a year with their passion and vigor.
Among them is a girl battalion commander called So Sang Hui.
Though they lacked experience and skills in construction and were quite unfamiliar with it, the young people learned and helped each other to promote the project.
The headquarters tried to send skilled workers for the battalion in consideration that it was led by the only girl commander who was the youngest of those at the construction site. But So Sang Hui and members of her battalion opposed it because they wanted to see the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un in the street they built with their own efforts.
So they studied construction methods and skills after work every night.
It was difficult, but they could finish the project with their strenuous efforts.
Kim Jong Un came out to the venue of the inaugural ceremony of the street and highly estimated the feats performed by the young people, speaking highly of their pure patriotism.
As a matter of fact, he paid a special concern to the construction of Jonwi Street undertaken by young people and took all measures necessary for it.
And whenever opportunities permitted, he sent them various kinds of foodstuffs and fruits, leading them step by step with his paternal love.
Though, he gave all the glory and happiness to the young people when the construction was finished.
He met innovators who performed feats in the construction of Jonwi Street. Among the labour innovators was the girl battalion commander So Sang Hui.
Indeed, Jonwi Street is a grand monument to youth built by the young people who vigorously advance forward and straight under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea all the time, elated by the love and trust of Kim Jong Un.
