Letter to President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un from participants in int'l forum
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a letter from the participants in the "international forum in support of the just struggle of the Korean people for defending their sovereignty and peace" held in Egypt on the occasion of the June 25--July 27 month of joint anti-US struggle.
The letter expressed firm solidarity to His Excellency Kim Jong Un who is reliably defending peace and security of the region and the world by turning the DPRK into a dignified powerful country based on strong self-defence capability, and said:
The DPRK is firmly defending the sovereignty and security interests of the country and peace of the region and the world by remarkably strengthening its self-reliant defence capability even in the worst difficulties caused by persistent pressure and military threat of the hostile forces. This greatly encourages the progressive people aspiring after a peaceful and stable world free from aggression and war.
The recent forum expressed the conviction that the Korean people will surely win in their struggle for building a powerful socialist country dignified and prospering with independence under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un who is possessed of firm independent faith and determination and distinguished leadership ability.
It also marked a significant occasion of affording a clear understanding of the fact once again that it is a pressing task for victoriously advancing the anti-imperialist independent cause on a worldwide scale for all the peace-loving forces to more vigorously conduct the international solidarity movement supporting and encouraging the just cause of the Korean people in firm unity.
It is a great fortune of the Korean people and the world progressive mankind to hold His Excellency Kim Jong Un, great champion of justice and peace, in high esteem.
The letter sincerely wished His Excellency Kim Jong Un good health for victory of the anti-imperialist independent cause and peace and prosperity of Korea.
